I had a very warm welcome at Fairlie Art club and demonstrated a figurative painting in acrylics.
I think everyone enjoyed the demonstration and I hope to be asked back for a another.

The annual ART SHOW of the Glasgow '84 Committee runs from MONDAY 5TH NOVEMBER - SATURDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2012.
The opening hours are 10am - 5pm Mon - Sat. Sunday 11am - 5pm.

Around 400 paintings by talented amateur and highly acclaimed professional artists will be on display. All exhibits will be for sale and the artists generously donate 40% of the proceeds from any sale.
Last year's exhibition raised £25,162 for Save the Children. A fantastic result in such difficult economic times.
The exhibition will be held once again in the prestigious Maclaurin Galleries, Rozelle Estate, Ayr. http://www.themaclaurin.org.uk Our generous main sponsors are Murphy Insurance and Financial of Alloway Place, Ayr http://www.murphyfinancial.co.uk. We have also received financial support from Mactaggart & Mickel http://www.macmic.co.uk The annual competition is always of great interest to our visitors. The title this year is "Celebrations" and the winner will receive The Willa Revie Trophy and £200 donated by the Revie family. The competition is open to all exhibitors.
